Steph Healy - Pure Sound

A Sound Practitioner creates specific sound frequencies and vibrations using a range of instruments such as Gongs, Himalayan or quartz crystal singing bowls, chimes, drums, rattles and the voice.

The vibrations work at a cellular level to help the system to re-balance by releasing blocked energy, which might be holding the body in an unhealthy state.

When you come to a sound bath, the feeling of being immersed in powerful waves of sound is why the experience is known as a “Sound Bath.”

Steph will be holding regular Sound / Gong Baths on the first Sunday of every month.

Natasha White

Natasha loves to help people from all walks of life to life their lives as fully and independently, and joyfully as possible. With 25 years’ experience, her style of teaching with an educational, fun and interactive approach is very well respected in the local area; she brings out the best in everyone she works with.

“I believe everyone can enjoy vitality”.

Natasha will be running Pregnancy, Kids & Family Events.

Phil East - QiGong

"The basic principles of Qigong are simple. When there is balance there is health.

Equal Yin and Yang is balance. When there is harmony between the Five Elemental processes there is health. So, too much Fire, add Water; too much Wood, use Metal etc.

These simple practices are available to all of us and can have a tremendous influence on our well-being. Having experienced this myself and having seen students experience this is my driving principle for sharing Qigong."

Kate Hamilton-Kapur - Hatha Yoga

"In 2011 I began my training at the Dru Yoga centre in Bethesda; 2 years Yoga Teacher Training and 2 years Meditation Teacher Training. I also travelled to Brighton to train in Partner Yoga with Sevanti at the Unity School.

In 2018 I delved into the ancient and little understood art of Yoga Nidra and trained online with Karen Brody, she calls her style Daring To Rest!

In 2019 I discovered the wonderful Jackie Quayle at The Yoga Bank in Widnes and trained in Yin Yoga with her.

I love Mudras, Mantras, Malas, Chakras, Crystals and Essential Oils...I will be weaving this little lot together to create a nurturing space for all at Bodnant Welsh Food."

Alison Jones

Alison is a Mindfulness Teacher, who trained on the Master’s Programme in the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice in Bangor University.

My background is in Mental health; I’m a Mental health nurse and have spent nearly 20 years working in health care. I was introduced to Mindfulness through work and decided to teach it because it helped me so much and I could see the difference it made to others too.

I see it as a huge privilege to be able to share Mindfulness with others.

Noémie Barbeau

"I started attending Iyengar Yoga classes in 2010 and I was immediately hooked! I religiously attended my weekly classes and then a 2 year TT course in the Manchester and District Institute of Iyengar Yoga, which greatly improved my understanding of the Iyengar yoga method.

I discovered that I loved teaching and sharing my new knowledge with others. I am fully qualified since October 2016 and I am since delivering classes open to all."

Noémie will be running an Iyengar Workshop on Novemver 27th.

Siward & George - Kirtan

"We shall lead you through a round of Sanskrit chants & songs. We will invite you to listen and join in when you're ready! Singing together nurtures a sense of community and belonging, which feels familiar, ancient and necessary.

We honour the many paths and traditions we have followed for the last 8 years, and we return to the meditative space after each chant or song.

We sing together and end the evening with chai and a chance to meet new people and catch up with old friends."

Yoga & Kirtan will be held on the 3rd Friday, once Covid restrictions are eased.
