Here’s your invitation to try out four different styles of yoga on this Retreat. We will move with awareness, connect your breath with your body, slow the busy mind.

Energising yoga in the morning, relaxing yoga in the afternoon and Nidra in the evening, this retreat is for anyone who wants to explore how the different styles of yoga help us to stay balanced, calm and centred and rested.

Beautiful venue nestled in woodland in the Nant Francon Valley, Snowdonia.

On my Yoga & Meditation Retreats I often get asked for MORE YOGA! So I thought about doing a retreat that is all about different styles of Yoga.

Ultimately the goal of yoga is to be able to sit quietly and meditate, so we can’t miss this out completely, but we will have the majority of the sessions focused on Hatha, Yin and Restorative Yoga plus Yoga Nidra.

INCLUDED IN YOUR RETREAT:

  • Hatha Yoga involves bringing into balance these two sides of ourselves, the masculine and feminine, the outer and inner, active and passive, light and dark. It is a slow and n=mindful practice, where we are always watching the breath and moving with the breath and holding postures for a few breaths.
  • Yin Yoga is a style of yoga that involves long holds in various seated and reclined poses to access deeper layers of fascia and to quiet the mind.

  • Restorative Yoga enables deep relaxation as you hold poses for longer periods of time with the help of props to completely support you.

  • Partner Yoga uses the body weight of your yoga buddy to gently pull, push and ease your body deeper into yoga postures. This form of yoga can be a fun, laughter-filled session or quiet and sacred time to connect with another human being.

  • Yoga Nidra or yogic sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, typically induced by a guided meditation.

  • All Meals by Catherine Humphrys for Wildings Vegan Kitchen. All dietary requirements catered for. This is a vegetarian and alcohol-free retreat.

  • Lovely Rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Twin, Triple and Double Rooms available to share or Single Occupancy.

No previous yoga experience is required! This retreat is open to anyone who is interested in exploring all forms of yoga and the benefits these can give us with regular practice.

VENUE:

Bryn Llys is a magical place! Tucked away in a woodland with a lake, a boardwalk through a marsh and brimming with wild flowers, birds and lovely garden, Bryn Llys is a combination of campsite, wedding venue, stone cottages and retreat space.

There is scope for us to have some of our sessions outdoors in the barn or on a lawn, a fire-pit in the evenings and free time to sit on a bench just listening to the birdsong or napping in a hammock!

ACCOMMODATION & PRICES
£545.00 per person for Sharing a Twin, Triple or Double room - 1 Double & 4 Twins and 2 Triples available.
£695.00 per person for Single Occupancy of a Double or Twin - 1 Double & 4 Twins and 2 Triples available.

A deposit of £100 is required to secure your booking.The balance may then be paid in instalments or the full amount will be due by May 19th.
